Bayon temple

Bayon temple is another famous temple in Siem Reap province of Cambodia.was built in the early 13th century in the period of King Jayavararman VII. This Khmer temple is located in the center of Angkor thom.

If you visit Angkor wat you will be able to visit Bayon temple easily because it is situated north to Angkor wat temple nearly. Bayon temple is strongly refered to the god with 4 faces that opposite to each direction with smiles. And in Bayon Temple you can find more than 200 faces with 54 towers (one tower with 4 faces).

Bayon temple is much smaller than Angkor wat, and the best time to visit this temple should be in the morning and also in the afternoon (Around 3pm), because this place can bee hotter than other temple with the direct sunray.
