HTML and CSS is a must study skill for those who want to create website by themselves. Even if now there are a lot of CMS (Content Management System) on the market with are free, open source and even paid but you still need to have some knowledge in HTML and CSS. So learning HTML and CSS is very useful for everyone who is blogger or wants to be the web designer/developer which this is the first step for you. Today I have collect some resource for you that you can try to read and follow those tutorials. Some websites also have exercises that can help you to practice and remember what you learn the most.
W3Schools (http://www.w3schools.com/)
This is a biggest resource on the net that have helped many people to build their websites. They not only have HTML and CSS tutorial but also other web programming language as well. They also have exercises and quiz for you to practice.
HTML DOG (http://htmldog.com)
You will learn much about HTML and CSS on this website. This website is not as big as W3Schools but many people do recommend this website to those who want to learn HTML and CSS because their explanation and example are very easy to understand.
My own story
Yes now I should share my own story to all you guys about how I learn HTML and CSS by myself. Yes I start to read HTML tutorial form W3Schools and then I understand a lot of HTML such as using tag, table or so. And then I get stuck a lot of using CSS but then I also read the tutorial there and also find other solution such as downloading free CSS template and learn from it by view source code and try to follow the tips and tricks from some many great web design blog. And then now I can use HTML and CSS without any problem and I hope you will success soon too.
