There are a lot of Chinese websites that post new job announcement every day for who need to find a job. Most of the job announcements are written in English but there are still some use Chinese. So I am going to write this hub for all the foreigners who want to look for a job there. So I am going to describe some job opportunities that I hope you can find a job and make a good living soon.

Jobs in China is easy to find
Jobs in China is easy to find

1/ Teaching in China

Teaching English is a good job in China, as you already know this country is a fast develop and also need to use English and Chinese in daily business and also government works. If you are a native English speaker, you can have a god chance to teach English and if you are not a native English speaker you should have at least English teaching certificate such as TEFL (Teaching English as foreign language).
And if you have much teaching experience and also high study certificate that will double your chance to have a job as a teacher in China and also your salary.

2/ You job application

After you can find job position that you want to apply for, the next step should be applying for it. You must prepare a resume or CV and also cover letter that strongly talk about your main purpose of the job and also claim that you have enough qualification and also knowledge to work for the best.
After you submit your job application, you must wait for the interview and it should be the phone interview at first if you pass this step then you will need to have a face to face interview. During this step I highly recommend that you prepare yourself well and be brave. You must learn about the company that you are applying for the job as well, it will be important in your interview.

3/ Volunteer or do an internship in China

If you don’t have much job experience or you are a foreign student in China, then this job opportunity should be suitable for you. Most of this job are mostly unpaid but it give you back with job experience and also increase your job flexibility and you also can learn much more new thing from such these job rather than what you have learn from school.  But after you complete your internship your volunteer and your result is good, you will have much chance to work with those company as well because they are already work with you so they like you to be their stuff rather than using other people.

4/ Self-employment and freelancing

If you don’t want to find a job in china to work for anyone or company then this is a most suitable choice for you. You can start your own self-employ or freelancing. You must deal well with your visa issues and also you may need some people to work for you. Because if you are a graphic design professional you can become a freelance graphic designer and you must have one interpreter to help you when communicate with clients who only can speak Chinese, but if you can communicate in Chinese well then you can interact with your client without any interpreter so you will decrease your spending for a part. But you must remember some point before start your freelancing job such as:

  • You are on your own risk. Your business, your trying, your money
  • You must work hard and have self-discipline
  • You must have strong communication skill and able to deals with your client
  • You should know a lot of people first when you start this business, then you will find yourself hard to find clients
