How to show hidden file and folder with REGEDIT

Do you have problem when you can not see hidden file? When your folder option is not disable but when you click on the radio button to display hidden file in Folder option, it doesn’t work. So how would you do?

I just found a really good trick that can apply with REGEDIT that i have test and work with Windows XP and Vista, but I have not apply with Windows Se7en yet.

To do this first you have to go to REGEDIT by click on start >> Run the Run dialog box appear, after that you can type: REGEDIT and click OK or press Enter.

After that you will see a REGEDIT windows appears (REGEDIT is a short form of Registry Editor). Now in the left hand side please go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

After that turn your eye focuses to the right hand side and finds the DWORD named HIDDEN. Double click on HIDDEN and change the Value data from 0 to 1.

After this, you can see another DWORD that is so near to HIDDEN too, named HidefileExt. Open it double clicks and changes the value data from 1 to 0. Not to confuse with HIDDEN.

Now you can set to view hidden file and no need to worry with your Folder option anymore.  If you have other similar problem please comment below, then I will try all my best to help you.
