Top major foreign languages in Cambodia

Since Cambodia is a developing country and have also a fast growing education system and also business. Foreign language is so popular in this country as well as they are so important thing for the daily life of almost Cambodians. So I will talk about the 4 most popular foreign languages in Cambodia that a lot of young Cambodian youth are studying nowadays.

1/ English
English is the most important and international language all around the world. So in Cambodia also the same as other country, It now has been the most used language in Cambodian beside Khmer language. Most of the young student start learning English because their parent believe that being able to use English can find a  good job easier than those who cannot speak or write English. Of course most jobs nowadays do require their staff to be able to use English in their daily job.
And also in Education system, English is also included in the formal education in high school. Many students also needed to use English especially in their university study because many document are mostly written in English and most of the documents on the internet are wisely written in English.

2/ French
Because of Cambodia was under the rule of France in the past time (1853–1953), And during that time, French is popularly used in Cambodia and also still continues until now some.  But now French is still crucial for Cambodia such as medical student, civil engineering student and also for doctor and anyone who is involved with health and medical industry.

3/ Chinese
Chinese is used mostly in business in Cambodia. It is unofficial but many businessmen in Cambodia are most likely to speak in Chinese and also many Chinese people are living in Cambodia nowadays, It is now become a popular languages in Cambodia also. There are many formal education private schools in Cambodia that teach in Chinese. So awesome!

4/ Korea
Since the government relationship of Cambodia and South Korea is so good now. There are many Korean investor come to invest and do their business in Cambodia. It is now require many people in Cambodia to be able to speak Korean because it is a needed language these days. There are also good chances for Cambodian people to work legally in Korea if they are good at Korean and those jobs can give them very high salary so they can really help their family in Cambodia easily. Most people start to learn Korean every day and also go to work in Korean a lot. Cheer!
